How to Smoke Less

Quiting is hard. Improve your chances of quiting by using these tips to cut back on your nicotene intake first.

1. Don't Smoke in the House or Car
It's a baby-step. Really. You can smoke anytime you want, you just have to go outside to do it. This will cut your smoking habit down, and also make your nose more sensitive to the smell of smoke since you will no longer be "living" in it.

2. Smoke and Green Tea?
If you are like me and lots of other smokers, coffee and a smoke are a match made in heaven. Cut back on your coffee intake and substitute it with something that doesn't taste so good with tar. Like green tea, water, orange juice etc...

3. Keep a Supply of Gum
Oral fixated? Curb your need for a smoke with a peice of gum everyonce and a while.

4. Move your Smokes and Ashtrays
Don't keep your cigs, ashtrays and lighters in a convienent place (like right next to you at all times). Instead keep your pack in the kitchen, ashtray outside (your suppose to be smoking outside, right?) and your lighter in another room. This makes smoking an effort and eliminates lighting up out of convienence.
