5 Exercises (that don't feel like exercise)
Have a hard time finding the time or motivation to have a solid and regular
workout routine? Don't feel bad or give up, you can find easy but effective
ways to exercise everyday without it ever "feeling" like exercise.
1. Choose to take the stairs.
Instead of taking the elevator, walk a few flights of stairs...
this doesn't mean you have to walk 20 flights up. Just do a few flights
(or how ever many you can do comfortably) and then take the elevator the
rest of the way. As time goes by you can increase the number of flights
you do.
2. Park Far Away
Don't try and get the parking spot closest to the store's entrance.
Park far away from the entrance and walk.
3. Replace your desk chair with a Pilates Ball
These balls are air fulled miracles for your back and also for
your muscle tone, balance and core support. Sit infront of the computer
for long periods of time? Not only will sitting on one of these balls
instead of your chair improve your fitness, they will also help back pain.
4. Make your Bed on Your Butt
Use your butt muscles to scoot around on the floor as you make
your bed in the morning. This probaly sounds silly, but it is an amazing
exercise (and easy to remember).
5. Walk instead of drive
Find yourself driving to the store, school or other place that
is only 5-10 minutes away? Put down the keys and put on your runners.
Walking 20-30 minutes a day is great exercise, and you will definatly
see the results quickly.
If you can put just 1 or 2 of these ideas into your daily life you will
begin to see changes in your overall health and fitness in no time.
